Ringling Museum part 4 of 4

Today started off overcast and muggy. In the afternoon it became partly cloudy, a slight breeze and a high around 80.

Today we will complete the tour of the Ringling Museum by visiting 02-18 ringling_001_2_1

The center contains posters ranging in size from window to barn sized.  The cornerstone of the museum is the world’s largest miniature circus, The Howard Bros. Circus Model.  The model is a replica of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus from 1919 – 1938.  It was created over a period of more than 50 years by master model builder and philanthropist Howard Tibbals.  A circus from this period would employ around 1500 people and require a 100 car train to move them from place to place.
