Leaves and more leaves

Today was partly sunny and the high was in the low 80's

In order to keep site fees low, Escapee Rainbow parks hire work campers and ask for volunteers to help with the work.  Work campers usually work around 24 hrs a week and get their sites for free and maybe some $$.  The women work in the registration office and the men do minor maintenance and take care of the grounds.

Volunteers help to prepare the food for the jam session, Saturday' breakfast and the Thursday's dinner.  They also clean the activities center.  During February every Friday morning is beautify the park.  Volunteers rake leaves, cleanup brush and plant flowers.  To help the cause, today we raked up our site and part of the adjacent sites.

Depending on how soar we are, we might start raking across the street.

Beryl sat outside and read after our workout.

They are calling for temperatures to be in the upper 70's next week with a 20 to 30% chance of rain most days. Two of the places we want to visit are outside activities so we will have to wait and see.  If the weather is bad we will probably go to the Don Garlis Drag Racing Museum.

That's it for today.
