Ringling Museum part 2 of 4

Today was partly cloudy, breezy and a few sprinkles.  The high was around 84.
We left around 1100 for Walmart and groceries.  We also stopped at a produce stand for tomatoes, cucumbers and zucchini.  We got back around 1330.  The rest of the afternoon we sat around the MH.
Now more from the Ringling Mansion.
This is the bird cage Mable kept her Macaw in.

Now we will head outside to the Grounds and Gardens
Mabel’s secret garden.  If you walk down the path in the garden, you will come to the graves of John, Mabel  and John’s sister

This is a banyan tree. Runners come off of the branches and root themselves.  This started out as one tree.

The following pictures are from the rose garden.  The 27,225 sq. ft. garden was completed in 1913 and is patterned after a traditional Italian circular design.  There were originally 1200 plants.
