Today was overcast with a high in the low 70’s
Due to DST we did not get up very early. We were going to go the flea market but we said the heck with it. Yesterday we met John & Stefanie Arnold from the Hershey area. They are camped across from us and also have a dog. Stefanie asked Beryl to go to the produce stand with her so John and I sat outside and watched the race. That is about all we got done today. Now for some more tour highlights.
Our next attraction was the Old Store.
The guide let us in the store and started hawking the goods. We were also given a stick of hard candy from PA. Here are some shots of the store shelves.

This is the original well. They had cups of water to drink. It tasted like sulfur water. There were also bottles of water for sale in the gift shop for $4.00 each.

That’s it for the oldest city. Tomorrow we will probably take a drive on A1A and Anastasia Island.
thank you i loved the store and the fountain of youth. i have sulfer water so i am going to drink the hound out of it instead of bottle water. it better ad years to my life. lol who would have guess the milk shake maker not me i thought of a spinning wheel of sorts. lol thanks again i am having such a good time on vac. love ya.
