Wreaths Across America

The past three days have been chilly and dreary.  Highs in the low 60's and lows in the low 50's.  Today returned to normal once the clouds moved out.

This morning we were treated  to a steady stream of motorcycles for about a half an hour.  About 5 miles down the road is the Florida National Cemetery.  More than 7000 people showed up to place the 3 truckloads of wreaths on the graves.  The cemetery covers over 500 acres and has over 97,000 interments.  We were asked to go along to help but we stayed at the campground.

After all the ceremonies had been completed we headed over and took a couple of pictures.

Some areas had no wreaths

The Entrance and Exit Roads were about a 1/4 mile long and lined with flags
That's all for today.
