It's cold and a new toy

This morning started out at 18F and it didn't get much above 20F. It was a good day to stay inside and play with my new toy.  Amazon had a year end sale on their GPS units.  So I picked this one up.

It has a larger viewing area and has the latest maps with lifetime updates. As with most electronic gadgets all the help and instructions are loaded on the unit or you have to download a manual which is little or no help.

I'm working on creating the maps to get to our various destinations.  The campground we normally stop at in Virgina is closed so we had to find a new location.

Our goal is still to leave Friday morning and spend the night around Lexington, VA.  This will have us driving a little over 300 miles on Friday and around 250 on Saturday.  Tonite will be the coldest nite of the year with the low around 9F.  Right now it is 15F with a wind chill of 5F.  Time to get back to the GPS unit.
